Big Man on Campus-- eCampus

Ecampus is textbook site that caters specifically to college student demographic and also offers college apparel, DVDs, school supplies other college related merchandise.
In addition to having a pretty impressive used book store,

Ecampus has a streamlined system of purchasing your old textbooks, where based on your ISBN number and the condition of your old textbook they can quickly tell you how much they are willing to pay for you used textbooks. If you elect to sell your used textbook to them they well send you a postage paid box and as soon as they receive your old textbook they will mail you a check. Based on my experiences, they tend to offer more competitive pricing than the campus textbook buyback. It always irked me when I would buy a textbook from my campus bookstore for $150 and then three months later they would offer to buy it back from me for $20. Now, I can at least make some money back and don’t end up feeling so violated and used.
Ecampus also offers what they advertise as “the most eTextbooks on the web.” I really like this concept. Nowadays we do everything on our computers and mobile devices so it makes sense that we should buy digital versions of our textbook as well. Plus, I still have nightmares about having to carry around a 20 lb. backpack full of textbooks from high school. While there are still certain textbooks that you can only find in paperbound form, I was pleasantly surprised by their selection and the prices were very competitive in comparison traditional textbooks. eTextbooks are also better for the environment. The way I see it, there is no need to cut downs so many tress if there is a good electronic alternative. They also offer free shipping for orders over $59 dollars.
