Booksamillion -- Show me the money!

Books-A-Million is the third largest book retailer in the United States. Although they do not specialize in textbooks, the size of their retail network immediately lends them some credibility and depending on your locations provides the option of picking up your textbooks in store if you are in a huge rush start studying (or do everything last minute like I do).
Follow up:
Like many other retail book chains, they offer a discount “Millionaire’s Club Discount Card” that you can purchase for $20 a year and entitles you to an additional 10% off the website price. Although I usually try to stay away for signing up for these services, if you plan on buying most of your textbooks as well as your pleasure reading from the website it ends up saving you a lot of money and more than makes up for its cost.
In terms of new textbook pricing, their prices are not very competitive. They do however tend to offer different formats of certain staple textbooks at deep discounts. If you are willing to forgo your hardcover for a paperback for instance, you can save you huge amounts of money and will have a variety of options to choose among. They also have used book partners they work with, but in comparison to services like Amazon which provide you with a variety of vendors to choose from along with a wide range of price points, Books-A-Million leaves much to be desired.
